Why should you choose Selah Vie?
Being a part of Selah Vie, you will be encouraged, supported, strengthened and honored for all the gifts that the Lord has given to you. We will come together once a month and honor that special woman by speaking words of life to her. Hearts and minds can be changed when we speak truth in love.

In Ephesians 4:25,29,32 it tells us; “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to (her) neighbor, for we are all members of one body.” “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Choosing to hear and believe what others say about you in love, will bring confidence and identity in where you stand with the women in your life, and where you stand with the Lord.
This group will help dispel the lies we may be believing about ourselves and replace it with truth.

How full our hearts will be by this type of encouragement and honoring.
1 Corinthians 12:26-27 says “..If one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
We together as one body will all benefit from the love we have for our Lord and for each other.
2 Thessalonians 1:3-4 “We ought always to give thanks to God for you (sisters) as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.”
It’s important for us to speak truth in love, and to not hold back, but to let each other know, about how we have changed each others lives in some way, before we have no other days to live.
Our Calling
Through Selah Vie Ministries, we help empower women to purposely encourage one another through giving honor and speaking God's words of truth over them so that they can fully know their identity in Christ and value in life.

Selah Vie brings glory and honor to our Lord Jesus and revival to women’s hearts. With the Holy Spirit at the center of this ministry, Selah Vie is a place of belonging. A place to be seen, known, and heard. We Grow together in real friendships with deep heartfelt compassion and understanding for each woman. We cherish our time together, and speak words of life to one another. We live out God‘s word together because we are sisters in Christ.
What does a Selah Vie Meeting look like?
Here is a brief outline of how our meetings together will go.
Example:
*Woman of honor for the month (Dolly)
• (Dolly) will write down and share at least 3 things she knows that she does well and is proud of. Also, she will share a brief testimony of what she struggles with.
Example: “I am good at being a mother. I am a beautiful dancer. I am an amazing painter. But I do struggle with feeling alone most of the time; feeling worthless, and believing others don’t truly like being around me.”
These are the lies that will be replaced with truth.
The Lord tells us in James 5:6 to confess our sins to one another, so that we may be prayed over and receive healing.
After she shares, her head will be anointed with a drop of oil. The oil of gladness and joy.
(Isaiah 61:3 & Hebrews 1:9)
Next, each woman will have her time to share what they have written about (Dolly) honoring her. They will have a whole month to think about all of the things (Woman of the month) has done, shared, taught, or given...etc to her.
The woman of honor for the month, will go home receiving all of the encouraging cards of love.
Each card/letter that is written should start with, •“I praise the Lord for my sister....(Dolly)
For psalms 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
•Include at least ONE scripture verse.
•Let the woman know which gift she possess. Ex, gift of prophecy, faith, serving, teaching, encouraging, contributing to the needs of others, giving generously, leadership, or showing mercy...among many others.
If you happen to not know (Dolly) very well, or its your first time meeting her, please honor her by only writing down scripture for her.
Example: Psalms 139:14 “For (she) is fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Deuteronomy 32:10 “He (God) shielded (her) and cared for (her.) He guarded (her) as the apple of His eye..”
Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is with you, the mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Not only will you be able to remind (Dolly) how much God loves her; but also it will be a blessing for yourself.
Once all the ladies have shared their cards, we will have all grown closer together, becoming more unified in Christ and glorifying God.
Now it’s time for the Promise Board and problem bucket.
Each woman will receive a small piece of scratch paper. She will write down any problem(s) she has been dealing with.
Ex. Arguing with someone, upset over a situation, fear, stress, finances...anything troubling her.
She will write down the problem(s) and plunge it into the bucket. (She does not have to share her problem IF she does not want to.)
Then she will make the exchange; her problem for a promise.
She will randomly choose a promise from the board, and she will read it out loud for all to hear.
After each woman has had her turn dropping a problem and picking up a promise, the night will come to an end by circling together for prayer.
